Those cheeks and curls Baby E has to be one of the prettiest, sweetest and funniest babies I've photographed and fascinated by the camera maybe one day she'll grow up and be a photographer too.

2 little boys and a barn

This was the first time photographing outside at the studio I was so excited the weather was perfect and so were the boys running, playing and being cute as can be I'm very happy to say the first shoot went better than I had hoped with tons of photos of these blue eyed babes and I can't wait for tomorrow's shoot inside the new Aqua Poppy Studio.

Almost ready!

The studio is about finished, I've painted, painted and well painted along with hammering, sawing and a whole lot of cleaning, it's just about ready…now all I need is the sign, just a small detailed I over looked trying to get the space ready for it's first photo session this weekend. But who can miss an aqua colored build anyways, right? I'll be sure to have it up when I have the grand opening celebration, hope to see you there!

Scheduling Newborns

If you’re thinking about having a newborn photo session, try to get it scheduled before the baby arrives and newborn photos are best if taken within the first two weeks of the birth. And don’t worry if it seems too overwhelming to have a photographer at your house when the baby is so young, you are totally welcome to be in pjs during the whole shoot or join me at the studio where I'll have the temperature just right, soft music, an area just for Mom and baby to sit and rock or nurse them to sleep along with a changing station and props ready just for your little one(s).
